Perrys partnership with DealTrak dates back to September 2012, and over the years, the two businesses have worked closely together to deliver a solution for transparent, reliable and compliant finance journeys. The relationship has most recently been driven by Perrys Group F&I Director, Glynn Willson, who from the very beginning, took a hands-on role in shaping and evolving processes that deliver both operational efficiency and customer trust.

One of the most significant outcomes of this partnership was the development of the DealTrak Compliance Module. Glynn worked directly with DealTrak throughout the module’s creation, providing input from a dealer’s perspective to build a framework which is practical, adaptable and genuinely valuable to frontline teams. Launched with Perrys in May 2018, the Compliance Module was designed as a fluid framework, enabling the group to build and implement its own compliance process around it rather than being constrained by a one-size-fits-all solution.

Since its introduction, Glynn and his team have refined and updated Perrys compliance processes to keep pace with regulatory developments and shifting market expectations. The module has now been used with over 184,000 customers, providing a consistent, transparent, and customer-friendly sales experience across all rooftops.

In today’s environment, where the motor finance sector is under close media and regulatory scrutiny where claims management companies are highly active, Perrys recognises the importance of having a robust and demonstrable compliance process in place. The DealTrak Compliance Module delivers exactly that: a full audit trail of every finance transaction. Importantly, the framework and process significantly reduce the scope for malicious or opportunistic claims, a concern cited by many dealerships across our industry.
