Meet the F&I Awards winners: Broker of the Year

The leading lights in the UK’s finance and insurance sector came together at New Dock Hall in Leeds earlier last year, for the annual industry celebration – the F&I Conference and Awards.

The judging panel was made up of the cream of the UK’s F&I industry – so bagging one of the awards was no easy feat. Over the past few weeks, we’ve been meeting some of the winners, to find out what victory means to them…

Next up it’s Claire Kelsall, operations director at Jigsaw Finance, who picked up the award for Broker of the Year.

Congratulations on being named as F&I’s Broker of the Year, Claire. First and foremost, tell us what it personally means to you to be recognised with this award?

It’s wonderful to receive this award on behalf of our team, especially against such high calibre competition. Jigsaw Finance’s philosophy is based on a commitment to develop long-term relationships – with our dealers and their customers, and the support we receive from our financial partners.

Our success is entirely dependent upon our capacity to deliver consistently to our dealers, and it’s this recognition that reaffirms that what we are doing is what is required! But we are not resting on our laurels, there is more to come with some exciting news in the pipeline to further enhance our value to more dealers!

What does being recognised as Broker of the Year mean to the business?

In this category, the judges particularly sought to identify the broker which is going that extra mile for dealers and ‘has consistently proven to be a trusted and valuable addition to their F&I offering.’

So, this recognition was important to all those who work within our business, reaffirming that their efforts didn't go unnoticed. At the end of the day, it is our customers who benefit from all the work undertaken by the staff, who ultimately provide the value to the dealer network.

Is there anything else you’d like to add on behalf of the Jigsaw Finance?

Jigsaw Finance, has been supporting dealers for over 18 years and was the first broker to introduce "Dealer Technology", including online proposal submission. It has continued to use this as well as a “personal service” approach to support independent and franchised dealers achieve more sales. The diverse expertise of the staff allows the business to continue to embrace both standard and complex transactions, in the retail and corporate sectors. Jigsaw’s team are well respected for working with car sellers and their customers to identify appropriately tailored finance solutions.

Jigsaw is proud of the breadth, quality and long-standing nature of its relationships with the many finance companies with whom it works. This mutual respect has been earned by working closely with the individual providers, looking after their interests as well as their own.
