DealTrak Appoints Ben Moore as Head of IT

Ben joins DealTrak from one of the UK’s leading data and credit reference agencies, Call Credit, where he was Head of IT Operations & Service Management, and brings a wealth of experience to the Leeds-based business.

During his time at Call Credit, Ben oversaw significant growth in digital and data development and his experience in dealing with large quantities of data sensitively fits with DealTrak’s plans for growth and product improvement.

“Ben’s understanding of FCA regulations and data handling, including GDPR and ISO27001 made him the standout candidate among numerous incredibly strong applicants,” said Martin Hill, Managing Director at DealTrak.

“His experience gleaned from a distinguished career in data and digital product development and his strong data-bias and understanding of our industry will be essential as we take DealTrak forward.

“Aside from his obvious skills and expertise, he fits the culture of DealTrak. His attitude, ambition and values as a person are in-sync with ours and that was a key consideration in our selection process.”

Ben will manage the IT and Development teams at DealTrak as part of a remit that focuses on developing robust data and IT processes, enhancing the company’s platform offering and improving user experience for stakeholders.

“DealTrak’s ambition and plans for growth are what appealed to me,” said Ben. “I get a great feeling about the company and what they want to achieve. It’s a rare opportunity to find a role at a company that has such terrific ambitions for their industry. Helping to steer them through a period of growth and beyond is very exciting to me.

“Working with the key people in the business I can already see a way to take the business forward and make a real change for the benefit of our stakeholders, whether they are lenders, insurers, brokers or dealers.”

“This is a key appointment for DealTrak and one which we have spent a great deal of time on to ensure we got the right person. We believe we have that in Ben,” added Martin.

“We have a number of other key appointments to make in the coming months that will improve our proposition even further.”
