UK, December 2016:

Christmas spirit was at an all-time high on 15th December as DealTrak held their annual Christmas Jumper Competition aimed at raising money for the Save the Children Fund. DealTrak employees all donned a mixture of fun and sartorially dubious jumpers in a bid to raise as much money for worthy causes as possible. Staff raised a total of £132.50 through donations which was matched by DealTrak bringing in the grand total to £265. The winners were Liz Ingham, whose frosty the snowman jumper included a set of working fairy lights. Lee Oldham was the runner up with an eye-watering advent calendar design.

All funds from this annual Christmas Jumper Day are used by the charity to help millions of children around the world gain access to essential healthcare, education, protection and food. Save the Children also supports the Surkhet district in Mid-Western Nepal, creating after school clubs to help educate the local children about the dangers of child marriage.

Following on the festive cheer, DealTrak employees enjoyed their Christmas party at Jongleurs comedy store in Leeds.

“Congratulations to winner Liz, and runner up Lee who both received a Christmas hamper from the firm,” he said. “Importantly we raised some money for a very worthy cause which is a real demonstration of the firm’s values.”
